Forivor was established in 2014 by Rebecca Attwood and Alice Ross both based in Hackney, London. Named after Rebecca's father Ivor, the concept for the brand came after Rebecca was writing a short story for her goddaughter, while also trying - and failing - to find exciting organic bedding. The idea came in that strange moment between being awake and falling asleep. Since working together, have discovered a mutual love for dusky pink and anything pickled (even eggs) …. and inspire magical sleep
Owl & Dog Playbooks is an independent children's book publisher based in the UK. It was created by two designers Yeonju Yang and Claudio Ripol. With our product design background we come to the industry from a slightly different angle and see books as objects, formats to be challenged, rather than being a standardised vessel to contain images and words. We are interested in new, unusual formats, halfway between books and toys, and exploring the theatrical role-playing involved in reading a book
Scout + Fable is grounded in the ethos of imaginative play, un-commercialised childhood and traditional craft. We create wooden playthings and furniture for kids that are loved by parents too. The objects we design and handcraft have a retro feel to them. They’re functional yet fun. And they can take a battering from a toddler-tornado. We love what we do and this is reflected in the care and attention that we give to each item. We’re happy to discuss bespoke commissions too.
Odd Sock, Odd Shoe is about finding things that go together — from a mini midcentury chair to a modernist doll’s house — and using those to create interiors for children that both parents and children can love. With a general background in design, founder Deonne Rowland draws on wide-ranging product and design knowledge and focuses that exclusively on children’s interiors: nurseries, bedrooms and playrooms. The company offers a full, in-house design service.
